Man strangles 9-month pregnant wife in Andhra Pradesh

In Visakhapatnam, G Gnaneshwar allegedly strangled his nine-month pregnant wife, K Anusha, at their Madhurawada home. The couple married against his parents' wishes in December 2022. Gnaneshwar, who confessed to the crime after initially claiming she fell unconscious, cited harassment and suspicion of an affair as motives. Police have registered a murder case, and women's organizations are demanding strict punishment.
