CM inaugurates exhibition of Info and Public Relations Dept
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated an exhibition at Hisar Airport, showcasing the state’s remarkable journey of development. The exhibition, organised by the Department of Information, Public Relations and Languages, highlights the progress achieved across various sectors and informs the public about key
welfare schemes, projects and government accomplishments.
The Chief Minister said the exhibition featured major government schemes and development statistics. He emphasised that a state’s progress could be gauged by its per capita income, which in Haryana had risen from Rs 1,37,770 in 2014 to Rs 3,53,181 in 2024–25.
He said Haryana was making rapid strides in every field, with the government prioritising development projects based on public needs and convenience. In 2014, the state had only six medical colleges, which has now these had increased to 15, nine of which were established in the last 10 years. Plans were underway to set up a medical college in every district.
The Chief Minister said the state government was committed to delivering public welfare benefits more effectively. Significant enhancements was made to both scope and accessibility of these schemes.
He further stated that all information regarding government schemes,including application processes, was now available online. The government was leveraging technology to ensure that citizens could access services without the need to visit government offices. In addition to the exhibition, comprehensive information about the schemes could also be obtained digitally.
Director-General, Department of Information, Public Relations and Languages, KM Pandurang, briefed the Chief Minister about the exhibition in detail.
Cabinet Ministers Ranbir Gangwa and Krishna Bedi, along with BJP State
President Mohanlal Badoli, were also present at the event.
