Is ACP Pradyuman Making A Comeback On CID? Here’s What We Know
ACP Pradyuman might be making a comeback to CID after all. Just days after reports of the character’s exit, new buzz suggests that Shivaji Satam is set to return to the iconic role. According to The Times of India, the veteran actor is expected to rejoin the show in the coming weeks. This news comes shortly after Parth Samthaan announced he would be joining the cast, sparking speculation that he was replacing Satam.
ACP Pradyuman to make a comeback?
Last week, the decision to write off ACP Pradyuman sparked backlash from loyal CID fans. Now, according to a Times of India report citing a source close to the production, the iconic character may be making a return.
“ACP Pradyuman is an iconic character and it can never die. Shivaji Satam will be back on the show in a few weeks. Parth Samthaan who has made an entry will be shooting for the show for a short period of time. In the past, the makers have killed characters and brought them back to shows; so such twists and turns are normal," the source told the publication.

Shivaji Satam opened up about his character’s on-screen death in an interview with Bombay Times, saying, "I have no clue about this. I have taken a break for sometime and the makers know what lies ahead in the show. I have learnt to take everything in my stride and if my track is over, I am okay with it. However, I have not been told whether my track is over or not! As of now, I am not shooting for the show."
CID made its comeback earlier this year after a six-year hiatus. Now streaming on Netflix, Sony Entertainment, and Sony LIV, new episodes air every Saturday and Sunday at 10 PM.
