Power board releases history of Kangana Ranaut’s bills

Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) today released the power bills issued to Mandi MO Kangana Ranaut since December 2023 to show that power consumption at her Manali residence had been quite high.

The electricity board released the bills after Kangana alleged today that she had never paid bills above Rs 5,000. The bill history showed that Kangana had paid bills of around Rs 5,000 only once since December 2023 and Rs 5,433 in October 2024. Other than that, her bills had been in the range of around Rs 10,000 to Rs 55,000 per month.

HPSEBL Managing Director Sandeep Kumar said that if there was something wrong with the meters installed at her residence, the bills would have been roughly the same, which was not the case. “We will do the energy audit of her residence and will share the details,” he added.
