Scimago Rankings 2025: Shoolini University shines in Chemistry and Energy

In the Scimago Institutions Rankings 2025 (Universities), Shoolini University has ranked second in India in both Chemistry and Energy, third in Environmental Science, and ninth in Physics and Astronomy. Moreover, notable improvements have been observed in Plant Science (Rank 19 from 35), Food Science (Rank 23 from 35), and Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology (Rank 99 from 105).

Shoolini University has improved its India-specific innovation ranking as well, moving from 166 to 158.

In the Overall Global category, Shoolini has secured the 46^th position in India. In the Research Global category, the university ranks 16^th in India, and in the Societal Global category, it stands at 208^th in India.

Chancellor Prof. P.K. Khosla expressed his thoughts on the rankings, stating: “Shoolini University’s consistent rise in subject-specific rankings and innovation parameters is a testament to our focused vision and the extraordinary dedication of our faculty and researchers. I congratulate the entire Shoolini family for their commitment and performance.”

Prof. Sourabh Kulshreshtha, Dean, Research and Development, shared his views on the rankings, saying, “Our innovation output and subject-wise research strengths are growing stronger year after year. However, we must now commit ourselves to a stronger push in research publications, collaborations, and citations to elevate our research standing globally.”
