Hero MotoCorp Records Maximum Two-Wheeler Sales in FY’25
Hero MotoCorp concluded FY 2024-25 with leading figures in both retail and wholesale two-wheeler sales. According to data from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), the company recorded retail sales of 54,45,251 units during the fiscal, maintaining its position at the top for the 24th consecutive year. In March 2025 alone, Hero MotoCorp reported retail sales of 4,35,828 units.
In the electric vehicle (EV) segment, the company saw a notable increase in sales. Retail figures for the VIDA V2 electric scooter reached 48,674 units in FY 2024-25, up from 17,720 units in the previous year—an annual growth of 174%. March 2025 contributed 7,982 units to this figure, compared to 4,085 units in March 2024, showing a 95% year-on-year growth.
On the wholesale side, Hero MotoCorp dispatched 5,899,187 units over the fiscal year. March 2025 accounted for 549,604 of these, representing a 12% increase over the same month in the previous year. The company also reported international shipments of 287,429 units in FY 2024-25, which is a 43% rise from the previous year.
In terms of EV wholesale, the company dispatched over 58,000 electric scooters in FY 2024-25, which is around 200% more than the previous year. Hero MotoCorp also introduced several new models during the fiscal, including the Xtreme 250R, Xpulse 210, Destini 125, Xoom 125, Xoom 160, and new variants of the VIDA V2. These additions span both ICE and electric segments, targeting various categories from commuter to premium.
The data indicates continued expansion in both domestic and international markets, alongside a growing footprint in the EV sector.
