Mumbai: The Metro Line 3 shared an exclusive glimpse of the Shitladevi Metro Station. The Shitladevi Metro Station is part of the Aqua Line in Metro Line 3. The metro station is located between Dadar and Dharavi metro stations, and it is near the Mahim area.

The image shared on Thursday on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), highlights the main features of the Aqua Line 3, including the staircase, ticket counter, and the entry and exit points of the Shitladevi metro station.

The post shared by Mumbai Metro Line 3 stated, "Presenting the first glimpse of the Shitladevi Mumbai Metro Station, where engineering meets endurance. Built just inches away from old buildings, around massive water pipelines, and amidst various challenges, this station stands as a testament to persistence and precision."

The 27-station longest route of Mumbai Metro will be the third of the 17 metro routes planned for the financial capital. Aqualine 3 metro route begins from Colaba and ends at Seepz (Andheri).

Throughout its construction, the project faced several challenges, including land acquisition issues, traffic diversions, and the relocation of various utilities.

The shared images highlight the station's elevator, corridor, and ticket-checking area, providing a glimpse into the modern infrastructure of this key metro stop. The Dharavi station is an essential component of the Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line), which spans 33.5 km and includes 27 stations, connecting major areas such as Cuffe Parade, BKC, and Aarey JVLR.
