Punjab: Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal discharged from hospital
Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal was on Thursday discharged from a Barnala private hospital, where he was admitted following a complaint of stomach ache during a Kisan Mahapanchayat on April 7.
The block president of the Bharti Kisan Union (Ekta-Sidhupur), Jagjit Singh, said the doctors discharged Dallewal from hospital after his condition improved. He said after being discharged from the hospital, Dallewal departed for Amritsar to take part in a Kisan Mahapanchayat. The farmer leader said doctors had advised Dallewal to take rest in the days to come.
