IPL 2025 Points Table, Orange Cap & Purple Cap Standings After RCB vs DC Clash
IPL 2025 Points Table: Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by six wickets in Match 24 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 10 (Thursday). With this win, DC notched up their fourth straight victory of the IPL 2025 season, maintaining their unbeaten run and solidifying their hold on the second spot in the points table. Despite the win, they remain behind Gujarat Titans, who continue to lead the standings thanks to a superior net run rate.
After opting to bowl first, DC restricted RCB to 163 runs, with Phil Salt (37), Tim David (37*), and Rajat Patidar (25) being the key contributors. Kuldeep Yadav and Vipraj Nigam picked up two wickets each, while Mukesh Kumar and Mohit Sharma took one apiece.
Despite an early hiccup in the run chase, with openers Faf du Plessis (2) and Jake Fraser-McGurk (7) falling cheaply, Delhi bounced back strongly. KL Rahul led from the front with a sensational unbeaten 93-run knock, steering DC to a comfortable victory with six wickets in hand.
