Mahindra Crosses 3,000 Deliveries for All-Electric Origin SUVs in India

Mahindra has completed over 3,000 customer deliveries of its new electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and BE 6, since deliveries began on March 20, 2025. These models represent the company’s latest steps into electric mobility.

Booking data shows that 59% of customers have chosen the XEV 9e, while 41% have opted for the BE 6. The majority of buyers are selecting the highest variant, known as Pack Three. Due to strong demand, some regions are seeing waiting periods of up to six months. Mahindra is working to speed up deliveries across the country to address this.

To support customers who are new to electric vehicles, Mahindra has introduced a ‘Default’ drive mode. This setting is designed to replicate the driving characteristics of traditional petrol or diesel vehicles, easing the shift for first-time EV drivers.

As part of the delivery process, customers receive video guides that explain essential aspects of EV ownership. These include instructions on how to charge efficiently, how to drive to extend battery range, and how to use the connected tech features in the vehicle. The aim is to help new owners get the most out of their vehicles from the beginning.

Mahindra says it is continuing to increase production and delivery capacity in response to booking trends. The company is focusing on supporting customers through the transition to electric vehicles by providing the tools and information needed for everyday use.
