This is the story of an actress who did rise to fame, had worked with established actors – Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Priyanka Chopra, so and so forth. She became a household face but after doing good number of projects she called it quits. Her name is Ayesha Takia.

Actress Who Made Teen Debut, Got Trolled Heavily

Born in Mumbai, Ayesha Takia hails from a mixed cultural background. Her paternal side comes from Gujarat while her mother is an Anglo Indian with Marathi decent, Before stepping into film, Takia had worked in commercial and actually started out as a model. Her screen debut was with a famous ad film ‘ I am Complain Girl!’. Next, she made her first video with Falguni Pathak’s Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye. After more such music video, she was caught by the Bollywood eye and offered her first film. She became the lead actress in ‘Taarzan The Wonder Car’ along side Vatsal Seth.

Her next project was with Shahid Kapoor and then it was only upwards and forwards for Takia. She did several movies, witnessed her share of set back and box office failures too. She played opposite to Salman Khan in ‘Wanted’ 2008. Ayesha Takia’s last film was ‘Mod’, which was released in 2011. After marriage, Takia took a break form the industry

Speaking of her personal life, she got married to Farhan Azmi at the age of 23 who is the son of a politician. Farhan is Abu Azmi’s on, a Samajwadi Party leader. The couple welcomed a baby boy. Reportedly, she had also converted to Islam after marriage.

Few years after marriage, Takia was missed from the screen . However, she remains an active social media personality and does not shy away from expressing her views. Few pictures of her surgery of her sparked debate and incurred lot of trolling and hatred. But, she handed it back to the trollers and accepted her life, her vulnerabilities with grace.
