'Shameless Insult To India's Culture': Beef Samosas & Alcohol Sold During Hrithik Roshan's US Event On Ram Navami, Claims X User (VIDEO)

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, who participated in a fan event in Houston, US, on April 6, is now facing the ire of netizens after visuals of beef and alcohol being sold at the venue went viral. The event, titled Rangotsav, was held in Houston on the occasion of Ram Navami, and was attended by the actor.

Columnist Vivek Bansal took to his X handle on Thursday to share photos and videos from the venue, and in one of them, beef samosas can be seen being a part of the event's food menu. In a video, fans at the event could be seen buying and consuming what he claimed was alcohol. All this while, songs and bhajans for Lord Ram played in the background.

"It is nothing short of outrageous that on the sacred occasion of Sri Ram Navami, Hrithik Roshan’s shows in the U.S. reportedly featured liquor-fueled gatherings and even a beef party—disgracefully masked as Holi celebrations (sic)," Bansal wrote.

Not just that, but Bansal also claimed that the event had the presence of Rehan Siddiqi, who has allegedly been blacklisted by Government of India for his "dangerous affiliations".

"To make matters worse, these events allegedly included participation from Khalistani elements and Pakistani sympathizers, blatantly insulting Hindu sentiments. One must ask: Who authorized @iHrithik to collaborate with ISI-linked Rehan Siddiqi and his network of anti-India operatives on American soil? How was such a collaboration permitted, especially when Rehan Siddiqi has been blacklisted by the Government of India for his dangerous affiliations? (sic)," Bansal questioned.

"This is not just negligence—it’s a direct threat to national security and a shameless insult to India’s cultural and religious values. Those responsible must be held accountable for enabling such an alliance with anti-India forces (sic)," he added.

Hrithik and his team are yet to respond to the allegations.

Hrithik's Rangotsav tour courted a controversy earlier as well when a fan complained of mismanagement during the Dallas show. The fan wrote that despite spending around Rs 1.20 lakh for a pass to meet the Fighter actor, the meet and greet was cut short, and he left without meeting half of the people. "Not to mention it was outside in such cold weather. He showed up for a 30 minute show. Waste of VIP!!! Oh yes they won't even give us a refund!! Love Hrithik but this event was so unorganised even he was annoyed," the fan wrote.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hrithik will be next seen reprising his role of Kabir in War 2. The film, which also stars Jr NTR and Kiara Advani, will release in theatres on August 14, 2025.

The actor also recently announced that he is all set to mark his directorial debut with Krrish 4.
