The main reason for this is believed to be the cyclonic circulation and active western disturbance formed in and around western Rajasthan, which is affecting the weather of entire north-west India. Due to this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Delhi-NCR.

Temperature is making records in April
According to media reports, the minimum temperature in Delhi on Wednesday was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius, which is 5.6 degrees above normal. This was the highest minimum temperature for the month of April in the last three years. It was recorded at 24 degrees in the year 2024, 23.6 degrees in 2023 and 26.2 degrees Celsius in 2022.
Weather will change, relief from heat wave
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no heat wave in Delhi on April 10 and 11. The sky will remain cloudy these days and the weather may suddenly deteriorate. There is a possibility of light rain or showers with thunder and strong winds. The speed of the winds can be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for both these days.
The fluctuation in temperature will continue
On April 10, the maximum temperature in Delhi can be between 38 to 40 degrees and the minimum between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius. On April 11 and 12, the maximum temperature is expected to be 36 to 38 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 23-25 and 18-20 degrees Celsius respectively.
Mercury will rise again on 13-14 April
There will be a rise in temperature again on 13 and 14 April. The maximum temperature can reach 38 to 40 degrees. The minimum temperature on 13 April can be between 19-21 degrees and on 14 April it can be between 21 to 23 degrees Celsius. On 14 April the temperature will increase further and the maximum temperature can be 39 to 41 degrees and the minimum 22 to 24 degrees Celsius. During this time the winds are likely to blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour.
