BJP active workers’ conference in Sirsa
The BJP’s active workers’ conference for the Sirsa Assembly constituency was held on Wednesday at the local Shri Yuvak Sahitya Sadan, with BJP district president Yatindra Singh Advocate presiding over the event.
The programme was organised by BJP leader Rohtash Jangra. Prior to the meeting, two minutes of silence were observed in the memory of BJP former district vice-president Suresh Panwar’s mother and former district vice-president Asha Rani Jain’s son.
During the conference, the district president said the BJP was working diligently to fulfil its commitments.
The party had pledged to provide work for every hand, and today, that pledge was being fulfilled with the establishment of new industries and the provision of government jobs for youngsters without discrimination or favouritism, he added, stating that this goal had not been achieved during the tenure of previous governments. Senior BJP leader Jagdish Chopra said the party was now the world’s largest political party.
He recalled a time when the BJP had only a handful of workers, legislators and MPs.
Today, the party had the largest number of MPs, MLAs and public representatives in the country, he added.
BJP state secretary Surender Arya called the party’s third victory in the state historic, adding that the journey from two to 302 MPs was not easy, and was made possible by the hard work of dedicated workers.
BJP leader Rohtash Jangra spoke about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India, stating that the public would fulfil the dream through their votes.
