Woman found murdered

A woman of Kang village on the Tarn Taran-Khadoor Sahib road was found brutally murdered on Wednesday afternoon. The incident came to the notice of the family when her kids returned home and saw the body lying in a pool of blood in a room of the house.

“The deceased has been identified as Gurpreet Kaur (35) and further investigation is going on,”said SSP Abhimanyu Rana. She was residing in her parental house.
