Dangerous WhatsApp image scam: Cybercriminals hide malware, hack phone for OTP to empty bank account

The Department of Telecom has issued warnings about this emerging type of cybercrime, which marks a shift away from traditional tactics like OTPs, fake links, and digital arrests.
