'I Regret Inconvenience Caused': Why Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Felt Apologetic To Co-Flyer? Here's The Reason

Assam Chief Minister (CM) Himanta Biswa Sarma, in a social media post on Tuesday, expressed regret after failing to return an international plug and charging cable he had borrowed from a co-flyer.

Taking to X, Sarma wrote, "This morning, I traveled on an Emirates flight from Delhi to Dubai, where a kind young gentleman lent me his international plug and charging cable. Unfortunately, he disembarked in Dubai while I was asleep, and I couldn’t return them."

"I’ve just arrived in Amsterdam and feel deeply apologetic for not returning his belongings. If this message reaches him, please send me a direct message so I can arrange to return your charger and cable promptly. Thank you for your kindness, and I regret any inconvenience caused," he added.

Although the Assam CM mentioned in his social media post that he has traveled to Amsterdam, it is unclear whether his visit is in an official capacity or a personal one.

Earlier on Tuesday, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma shared a selfie with MLA Ajoy Kumar, taken on a plane.

Wishing the MLA a happy birthday, Sarma wrote, "Birthday greetings to my valued colleague in the Vidhan Sabha, Ajoy Kumar. He is doing commendable work in amplifying the voice of the people of Bijni and ensuring our schemes reach the last mile. Prayers to Maa Kamakhya and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev for his long and healthy life."
