The weather department has issued a yellow alert in these regions, including Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Bengaluru, Belagavi, Bagalkot, Dharwad, Koppal, Vijayapura, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagluru, Mandya, Ramanagara, Hassan, Mysuru, Tumakuru, and Kodagu, among others.

The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report for the next five days on X and wrote, "Thunderstorm, lightning is likely across the state today & tomorrow, scattered moderate rain over coastal, hilly and south interior districts. Moderate rain with scattered showers is likely over North Interior districts."
