Furniture shop owner murder case solved, 2 land in police net

The Focal Point police station today claimed to have solved the blind murder case of a furniture and electronic goods showroom owner. After identifying 11 accused, two persons have been arrested by the police. Those arrested have been identified as Nand Lal Paswan, a native of Biha and a resident of Machhi Market, and Jeet Lal, a native of UP and a resident of Dhandari Khurd.

Additional DCP Mandeep Singh, Industrial Area-A ACP Jasbinder Singh and Focal Point SHO Amandeep Singh Brar addressed a press conference in this regard. Police officials stated that late on March 24, several unknown persons had barged into a furniture-cum-electronic goods showroom at Dhandari. Since shop owner Dhani Ram Tiwari was present in the showroom, the accused tied his hands and legs and seriously injured him with sharp-edged weapons. Tiwari later died due to serious injuries.

As per police officials, the accused had entered the showroom to commit theft, but when the owner tried to raise an alarm, the accused attacked him and killed him. The police claimed the accused were part of a gang involved in committing thefts in factories and business establishments.

Police officials revealed that since it was a blind case, they had to work hard initially to identify the accused and then to nab them. Now the raids were being conducted by the police to nab the remaining nine accused identified as Roshan Mota of Jagdish Colony, Sonu, Satinder and Sunil, all from Ishwar Colony, Suraj Kumar, Mithilesh Kumar, Raja Kumar and Radhey Sham Yadav, all from Dhandari Khurd and Raja Ram.
