Bill Gates will give only 1% property to his children, 99% of his wealth will go to…

Microsoft founder Bill Gates has announced that he will leave only 1% of his wealth to his children, with the remaining 99% will be utilised for  philanthropic activities. Gates was once the richest person in the world, but later on his ranking went down due to the huge amount of donations. He also separated from his former wife Melinda French Gates. He also mentioned the reasoning behind his decision and stated that he wants his children to create their own identities and achieve success independently.

Bill Gates Property

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Gates’ total net worth is $162 billion (around Rs 13,900 crore). Even 1% of his wealth is very huge, that is $1.62 billion, which can still make his three children among the world’s richest individuals.

In a podcast, Gates said that his children have received excellent education and upbringing, but now they must find their own paths. “This is not a monarchy. I’m not asking them to run Microsoft. I want them to have the opportunity to earn their success,” Gates said. He previously stated that leaving his entire wealth to his children would be a “mistake.”
