Tata Motors Group Reports 3% Dip in Global Wholesales for Q4 FY25

New Delhi – Tata Motors Group reported global wholesales of 3,66,177 units for the fourth quarter of FY25, marking a 3% decline compared to the same period last year. The figure includes sales from its luxury vehicle arm, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).

The company’s commercial vehicle segment, including Tata Daewoo models, saw a 3% year-on-year decline, with total global wholesales at 1,07,765 units during the January–March 2025 quarter.

Passenger vehicle sales for Tata Motors also experienced a dip. The group reported global wholesales of 1,46,999 units in this segment, down 6% compared to Q4 FY24.

On the positive side, Jaguar Land Rover recorded a modest growth, with global wholesales rising by 1% to 1,11,413 units in Q4 FY25. Of this, Land Rover accounted for 1,04,343 vehicles, while Jaguar contributed 7,070 units.

The marginal growth in JLR sales helped offset some of the decline seen in Tata Motors’ commercial and passenger vehicle categories. The company has not yet detailed the factors behind the overall drop in global wholesales but is expected to shed light on the outlook and strategy in its upcoming earnings report.

The latest figures reflect a mixed quarter for Tata Motors Group as it navigates ongoing supply chain challenges, evolving demand trends, and global market dynamics.
