After 'Pushpa 2', Allu Arjun to star in Atlee's big-scale project backed by Sun Pictures

Pushpa and Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun and filmmaker Atlee are teaming up for a "magnum opus" backed by Sun Pictures. The announcement of the yet-untitled project — tentatively titled 'AA22 x A6' — was made on the occasion of the actor's birthday on Tuesday.
"Magic with mass & a world beyond imagination! Teaming up with Atlee garu for something truly spectacular with the unparalleled support of Sun Pictures," posted the actor on his official 'X' handle.
The team revealed a video showing Allu Arjun and Atlee meeting the Sun Pictures head Kalanithi Maran at his office and then flying to the U.S. to meet some of the top visual effects firms there to come up with innovative ideas for what is being teased as a "high-concept, VFX-driven spectacle," according to a report in Variety.
In a statement to the same, the Jawan filmmaker shared it has been his dream project for a while. "This is the film I have always dreamed of making and it's taken years of quiet work to shape the screenplay into something I truly believe in. To now bring it to life with the Icon Star Allu Arjun Sir, under the visionary leadership of Kalanithi Maran Sir at Sun Pictures, is nothing short of a dream-come-true. The film is mass at its core and magical in its storytelling, crafted to move and entertain audiences worldwide."
The project is looked at with high hopes given Allu Arjun's extraordinary run at the box office recently. Pushpa 2: The Rule, a sequel to director Sukumar's Pushpa: The Rise, has by now amassed around Rs 1800 crore globally.
Aside from the Atlee film, Allu Arjun is also attached to star in the next film of director Trivikram Srinivas.
