Another Fatal Car Accident In Mumbai
On the night of Saturday to Sunday, a car accident occurred on Mumbai's Bandra-Worli Sea Link, affecting traffic for nearly two hours. A white Skoda SUV collided with an object, causing damage and blocking the northbound lane. Social media footage showed Mumbai Police and traffic personnel working to clear the wreck and resume traffic flow.
Initially, the Mumbai Traffic Police alerted commuters about the delay, stating, "Traffic Movement Is Slow At Worli Sea Link North Bound Due To Car Accident." A follow-up update confirmed the road was cleared. Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties from the incident. This is not the first accident on the Sea Link; a December 2024 collision involved four vehicles due to overspeeding but also resulted in no injuries. Both incidents highlight the dangers of speeding and the need for caution on busy routes like the Sea Link as investigations continue.
