Mukesh Ambani’s bahu and Anant Ambani’s wife Radhika Merchant on his…: ‘Shaadi ke baad…’

Anant Ambani, the youngest child of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and his wife, Nita Ambani, completed a 170-kilometer ‘padyatra’ from Jamnagar to the Dwarkadhish temple in Dwarka, Gujarat, as the junior Ambani had made a solemn resolve to embark on a foot march from the Ambani family home in Jamnagar to seek the ‘darshan’ of Shree Dwarkadhish on the occasion of Ram Navami, his gorgeous wife, Radhika Merchant has revealed.

‘Anant ki iccha thi..’

In a social media post, Radhika Merchant expressed joy over Anant Ambani completing the walk and celebrating his birthday at the Shree Dwarikadish temple, and revealed that her husband, who turned 30 on April 6 (Sunday), had been planning the walk for a while.

“Aaj Anant ka 30th birthday hai, aur Anant ki iccha thi ki shaadi ke baad vo chal ke aayege humare ghar se Jamnagar se, aur bahut saal yeh iccha thi. Koi saal nahi ho paaya. Or is saal unhone apna mann laga kar yeh kar dikhaya mujhe bahut garv hai inpe ki aaj hum inka birthday Shree Dwarikadish ke saath celebrate kar rahe hai. Thank you everybody, aur jo bhi ghar se inko yeh dua dete rahe ki unka padayatra safal ho unko bhi humari taraf se thank you very much (Today is Anant’s 30th birthday, and Anant’s wish was that after marriage, he would walk to our house from Jamnagar, and he had this wish for many years. It didn’t happen for many years. And this year, he put his heart into it and made it happen. I am very proud of him that today we are celebrating his birthday with Shree Dwarkadhish. Thank you everybody, and thank you very much to those who kept praying from home for his pilgrimage to be successful.” she wrote.

Nita Ambani showers praise on son Anant

Anant’s mother, Nita Ambani, also expressed her joy over her son fulfilling his wish to march barefoot to the the Dwarka temple. Nita Ambani, who was seen with Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant at the Shree Dwarkadish temple, told news agency ANI she was proud of her son for inspiring the younger generation to embrace their rich culture and seek the divine.

‘My own spiritual journey’

Meanwhile, Anant Ambani also talked about his padyatra experience, calling it a spiritual journey which began in the name of the Creator, and also commenced with His divine name. Anant expressed gratitude to Lord Dwarkadhish, and to all the people who supported him, and joined his padyatra.

“See, it’s my own spiritual journey. I started this by taking the name of God and will end it by taking his name. I want to thank the Lord Dwarkadhish. I am grateful for the people who joined me on my spiritual journey. I am joined by my wife and mother, who will reach soon,” he said.

Anant Ambani embarked on a 170-kilometer padyatra from Jamnagar March 29, 2025, and reached Shree Dwarkadhish temple in Dwarka, Gujarat, on April 6 (Sunday). During the walk, he was joined by several prominent figures, including Dhirendra Shashtri of Bageshwar Dham.
