Tourism Fest in Mahabaleshwar: Here’s How You Can Book, Venue Details, Timing, Events, and More

In a great news for tourists, a grand three-day state-level tourism festival, the Mahabaleshwar Mahaparyatan Mahotsav 2025, will be held in Mahabaleshwar from May 2 to 4. Maharashtra Tourism Minister Shambhuraj Desai announced that Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan will attend the festival on May 3, 2025.

The festival promises a vibrant mix of cultural events, seminars, and activities to promote tourism in the state. The inauguration will take place on May 2 in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, along with several cabinet ministers.

More than a hundred tents will be set up in Mahabaleshwar on the lines of Kutch in Gujarat. Tourists will be able to enjoy adventure sports and water sports in Venna Lake. A special seminar of tourism industry experts, travel agents, and guides from across the country will also be organized. There will also be a special presentation on the historical importance of forts and their contribution to tourism.

A special cultural procession will be taken out on May 3, 2025, at Dr. Sabne Road in Mahabaleshwar. In this festival, tourists will be able to taste the traditional food culture of every part of the state. Also, before the closing ceremony on May 4, 2025, various traditional folk arts of Maharashtra such as Lavani, Gondal, Jagar, Nashik Dhol, etc., will be presented. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will be present at the closing ceremony of the festival.

Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan was presented with the biography book ‘Daulat: Daulatrao Shripatrao Desai,’ based on the life work of Loknete Balasaheb Desai by Tourism Minister Shambhuraj Desai as he informed him about the festival.
