Watch viral video: Woman in crop top shoots at car with infant inside during highway showdown

A viral video has stunned the internet, capturing the exact moment a woman in a white crop top fired two gunshots at a speeding vehicle during a wild road rage incident in Texas.

The video, which has been viewed millions of times across platforms, shows the woman taking aim as her male companion tries to calm her down and steer her back to their pickup truck.

The viral video was shared on ‘X’ by a popular handle named ‘Crazy Clips’.

What sparked the gunfire?

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the chaos began on Interstate 45 near FM 1960. Benjamin Greene and his partner Nazly Ortiz were in a pickup truck travelling north when tensions flared with another driver — who had a two-year-old child in the back seat.

Authorities say the car driver claimed Greene was tailgating him aggressively, prompting him to “brake-check” the pickup. The situation escalated when both vehicles exited at Parramatta. Instead of parting ways, Greene allegedly parked his truck in front of the car, blocking the lane.

Court documents reveal Greene then approached the car, and a verbal spat quickly turned physical. The driver says he had to push Greene away, after which Greene allegedly put him in a headlock and punched him multiple times in the shoulder.

In the chaos, the man managed to get back into his car and began driving away, his toddler still inside. That’s when things took a dangerous turn.

As the vehicle sped off, Ortiz reportedly drew a firearm and fired a shot straight into the backseat passenger window. A second wild shot followed as the car disappeared down the road.

In court, Ortiz claimed she feared Greene was about to be run over. Meanwhile, Greene’s attorney argued that the video actually shows him trying to wrest the gun from Ortiz and get her back into the truck.

The driver of the car suffered a graze wound and was treated at a hospital. Miraculously, the two-year-old was unharmed.

Both Ortiz and Greene were arrested and faced aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.

The viral video has become a textbook case of road rage gone off the rails, reminding everyone that losing your temper behind the wheel can land you behind bars.
