MP Jheel Mahotsav 2025: 15-Day Water & Adventure Festival Begins At The Scenic Bargi Dam

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): For the first time, Jabalpur and Mandla districts of Mahakoshal region are jointly organizing the Jheel Mahotsav, a 15-day festival at the scenic Bargi Dam from April 5 to 20. The event promises a unique blend of water, land, and aerial adventure activities set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Narmada River, surrounded by hills and islands.

The festival kicks off on Saturday with grand inaugural festivities led by Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh and Public Health Engineering Minister Sampatiya Uike. Several MPs and MLAs, along with district collectors from Jabalpur and Mandla, will also be in attendance.

Adventure seekers can look forward to a host of thrilling experiences. From motorboat rides, water sports, and paramotoring, to ground-based adventure activities – the event is set to bring the excitement of coastal cities and Himalayan adventure zones right to Madhya Pradesh. Professional trainers from Satpura Sports Club and expert boating crews will ensure safety and fun.

To enhance the experience, AC tents for accommodation, food zones, and local product stalls will be available inside large domes at the venue. Every evening will feature cultural performances and music shows to entertain visitors. Tourists can reach the festival site via Samadhi Road through Gaur and Barbati village, making this a must-visit destination for families and adventure lovers alike.
