DC assigns duties to officials for PM’s visit to Hisar on April 14

Deputy Commissioner Anish Yadav has assigned duties to officials for the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar on April 14. He is scheduled to inaugurate flights from the Hisar Airport.

According to information, Hisar SP Shashank Kumar Sawan has been made the overall in-charge of security and safety, supervising all security arrangements, traffic control and law enforcement at the venue and along the designated routes. He will ensure proper barricading, frisking and crowd control.

Preetpal Singh, Joint Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, Hisar, and Mohit, SDM at Narnaund, will coordinate with security agencies for maintaining the safety of the Prime Minister and other VVIPs. The Flying Safety Officer at the Hisar Airport has been tasked with overseeing helipad arrangements, including trial landings and safety protocols.

Ajit Singh, Superintendent Engineer (SE PWD B&R), is responsible for boarding, lodging and logistical arrangements for visiting dignitaries, ensuring smooth operations for the PM’s visit. District Food and Supplies Controller Amit Kumar will manage firefighting arrangements and food safety measures at the venue. Sanchit Goyal, Field Manager, IOCL, will oversee fuel arrangements for the Prime Minister’s aircraft and other logistical requirements. Mangal Sain, GM, Roadways, will coordinate vehicle arrangements for VIP transportation.

Hisar ADC C Jayashardha will supervise the seating arrangements for VVIP guests at the main event venue. Dr Sapna, Civil Surgeon, has been tasked with deploying medical teams, ambulances and ensuring necessary health arrangements are in place. Suresh Kumar, Fire Station Officer, will handle fire safety measures, including the deployment of firefighting vehicles at the event location. Besides, other officials including Pawan Chahal, Food Safety Officer, Niraj Municipal Commissioner, Ombir, Superintendent Engineer, DHBVN Circle, Hisar, and RK Sharma, Superintending Engineer, PHED, Hisar, will oversee various technical and infrastructure-related duties.

The administration has directed all officials to ensure smooth execution of their responsibilities as the event is expected to witness high-profile attendance and preparations are being carried out with strict adherence to protocol and security measures, the officials said.
