Mitchell Marsh was in top form, smashing 60 runs off 31 balls, while Aiden Markram anchored the innings with a steady 53 off 38 deliveries.

However, the middle order failed to maintain momentum. Nicholas Pooran managed just 12 runs, and Rishabh Pant continued his poor run with another low score of 2. Ayush Badoni contributed 30, while David Miller added a quick 27 off 13 balls to help LSG cross the 200-run mark. Shardul Thakur (5*) and Avesh Khan (2*) remained unbeaten at the end.

The highlight of the innings was Hardik Pandya's fiery spell, where he claimed his maiden IPL five-wicket haul, finishing with 5/36 in 4 overs.

Notably, Rohit Sharma missed the match, reportedly due to an injury sustained during practice.
