Kajol Rescues Anupam Kher's Mother As She Nearly Trips On Stage During Tanvi The Great Event In Mumbai (VIDEO)

Bollywood actress Kajol attended the teaser launch of Anupam Kher's directorial, Tanvi The Great, in Mumbai on Monday, and while at it, she came to the aid of the veteran actor's mother, Dulari Kher, who nearly tripped on stage. As she lost her balance, Kajol acted swiftly and held her avoiding any mishap.

A video of the incident has now gone viral in which Dulari can be seen gracing the stage to launch the teaser of his son's directorial film. However, as she looked at the media and paps, she suddenly lost her balance and almost tripped, but Kajol quickly grabbed her arm and helped her regain her balance.

Anupam was then seen thanking Kajol for the gesture and he also appreciated her for attending the event.

"Aur main aadhi gir bhi gayi," Kajol quipped, but Anupam added that it will only bring good luck to his film.

At the event, Kajol introduced actress Shubhangi as the lead of Tanvi The Great, and wished her, along with the team, all the success for the film's release.

Tanvi The Great marks Anupam's second directorial, his last being the 2002 film, Om Jai Jagadish, starring Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in the titular roles. "When I want to make a film, a story I want to tell and feel from my heart -- when I get a story like that which I want to share with the world, I would direct a film. So, it took me 23 years to find such a story. I worked on the story for 3-3.5 years. We shot it last year, and this year, we will bring it to the world," Anupam said about Tanvi The Great.

The film is set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival's Marché du Film section in May.
