Anant Ambani, Director of Reliance Industries Limited, has played a significant role in the company’s strategic decisions and operations, continuing the Ambani family’s legacy of leadership. The younger son of Reliance Industries’ Mukesh Ambani is known for his deep love for animals and his “Vantara” wildlife preservation project, and he has also publicly expressed his strong belief in Sanatan. However, the younger son of the Ambani family, Anant Ambani, has now taken on a greater responsibility with his appointment as a ‘whole-time director’ at Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). This decision follows the release of the company’s quarterly report.

Anant M. Ambani is an Indian business leader and serves as a Director on the Boards of Jio Platforms Limited since March 2020, Reliance Retail Ventures Limited since May 2022 and Reliance New Energy Limited and Reliance New Solar Energy Limited since June 2021.

Previously, Anant served as a non-executive director on the board of Reliance Industries. The Company’s quarterly reports were announced on April 25. It was revealed that Anant will be appointed as a ‘whole-time director’ for a five-year term, starting May 1, 2025. However, the appointment is subject to shareholder approval, reported BollywoodShaadis. This major development marks a significant step in Reliance’s efforts to strengthen its next-generation leadership at India’s largest company by market value.
