Mumbai Indians owner Nita Ambani screamed with excitement as Rishabh Pant departed for a single-figure score in the IPL 2025 game against the Lucknow Super Giants on April 27, Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium. Ambani, who was speaking to Harsha Bhogle about the ESA day, screamed the moment Pant was dismissed as a video of the same surfaced on social media.
The dismissal occurred in the seventh over of the innings as the left-handed batter played a reverse sweep the very second ball he faced. Although Pant gained a lucky boundary to open his innings as the ball took the outside edge, the reverse sweep was a miscue and it went to the short-third man, with Karn Sharma taking a simple catch.
