Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s home Antilia is enlisted as one of the most expensive and lavish private residences in the world. While the 27-storey building gracing the Mumbai skyline is a symbol of the huge wealth of India’s richest man, their family not always lived here. Before moving into Antilia, Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani, and Anant Ambani lived in a joint family in another part of Mumbai.

Mukesh Ambani is the son of the late business tycoon Dhirubhai Ambani who had two sons and two daughters. Anil Ambani is the younger brother of Mukesh Ambani, reportedly, the two brother with their families used to live together with Dhirubhai and Kokilaben Ambani in Sea Wind Building located in the Southernmost tip of the city at the Cuffe Parade area. It was, then, one of the most expensive sky scraper.

The Ambani’s have cultural, familial values and tradition deeply entrenched in the mindsets. Rooted in traditions, they cherish these bonds. Earlier, Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani, Anant Ambani lived with Anil Ambani, Tina Ambani Anmol Ambani and Anshul Ambani in Sea Wind apartment. The huge building had luxury amenities, helipad, gymnasium, luxury cars and extravagant yet sophisticated decor. Looking back at, it was a palatial home where children had separate floors too, reportedly. It still holds a sentimental value for the family.

On April 5, Instagram user Rajivi Pujari, who runs her page about real estate under the name Sobo Narratives, shared a video of the property and wrote in the caption, “Sea Wind in Colaba was once home to Dhirubhai Ambani, the visionary founder of Reliance Industries. Before the Ambani family became a global phenomenon, at least 11 family members shared this 14-storey building in Cuffe Parade, Mumbai.” (sic)

Reportedly, in 2010-2011, Mukesh Ambani and family shifted into Antilia that is estimated to be Rs 15,000 crore worth home with 27 storey, royal facilities, six-level of car parking, helipad, swimming pool, spiral staircase and much more.
