Prateeksha is the first bungalow that Amitabh Bachchan bought in Juhu. The actor resided with his parents Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan. Big B has preserved both his father and mother’s room as the way it was when they were alive. The name ‘Prateeksha’ was given by Harvinash Rai Bachchan, symbolising stability. According to report by ET Times, the actor’s first-ever residence in Mumbai costs Rs 50.3 crore and has been gifted to Shweta Bachchan by Big B as a cherished part of his legacy.

Jalsa

Jalsa is where the Bachchan family currently resides. Located in Juhu, the twin-storey building was a gift to Big B by director Ramesh Sippy for acting in his movie Satte Pe Satta, released in 1992. According to reports by E-Times, Amitabh Bachchan and his family’s primary residence is worth Rs 112 crore.

Vatsa

Located in Juhu, Vatsa means ‘Calf’. The property has been leased out to Citibank India. According to Square Yards the ancestral house of Bachchan family is in Allahabad at 17, Clive Road and is now been converted into an educational trust. According to reports, the house is estimated to be worth around Rs 50 crore.

Janak

According to Vogue India, Amitabh Bachchan’s Janak property is close in distance to Jalsa and serves as an office for the actor. His grandson Agastya is often seen accompanying and working with him. Janak means ‘father.’ It was purchased by the family in 2004 and is worth Rs 50 crore, as per Square Yards.

New Properties

Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan, purchased two apartments in Juhu. The one is estimated to be worth around Rs 40 crore, while the other one costs Rs 1.75 crore, as reported by Square Yards.
