A user on X claimed that the swashbuckling all-rounder came for a meeting with Mumbai Indians' owner Akash Ambani but it has emerged that he landed in India for a shoot with KL Rahul for Redbull.

Stokes, who has played for the Rising Pune Supergiants, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals during his tenure in the T20 league history, opted out of the IPL 2025 auction to manage his fragile body, marred by injuries in recent times. With an important year looming for England, including the Test series against India and Australia, Stokes chose to put international duty on priority.
