Leapmotor B10 And C10 SUVs Could Come To India

Stellantis has announced that EV brand Leapmotor will come to India and the question is which cars are coming to India. Stellantis has acquired 20 percent of Leapmotor and also formed Leapmotor International, a 51/49 Stellantis-led joint venture. While not confirmed, Leapmotor will most likely bring the C10 and the B10 premium EV vehicles to India.

The C10 EV SUV has a range of 424km while the Range Extended EV can deliver up to 950km range. It is a big 4.7m SUV and comes with features like first class seats with heating/ventilation, panoramic sunroof, 12 speaker audio system, 7 airbags and more. The EV version has a  69.9 kWh Battery Capacity while the REEV version has a 28.4 kWh Battery Capacity and a 1,5 liter Gasoline Combustion Engine. This is more like a luxury EV and it will rival the BYD Sealion 7.

The other product could be the B10 which is smaller and would be more competitively priced while having a length of 4.5m while the interiors look high quality with a 14.8-inch touchscreen and more. The B10 is also aimed for European markets while the 67.1kWh battery will give a range of more than 400km. There is also a smaller T03 but we would wager that premium EVs is what Leapmotor will focus on.

We can expect a launch by next year and it will join the likes of Vinfast and Tesla as new EV options for the Indian buyer. Leapmotor will join Citroen and Jeep in India from the Stellantis brand line-up which also includes Maserati.
