Guidance session for judge aspirants at GGSIPU’s law school
Samridhi Talwar, who secured AIR 1, and Raghavi Govil, AIR 14, shared insights from their journeys with current students. Both are USLLS graduates, with Talwar having completed her BBA LLB in 2022 and Govil in 2019. Their achievements, including earlier success in the Rajasthan Judiciary exams, were warmly celebrated during the event.
The session was inaugurated by Queeny Pradhan, dean of USLLS, who motivated students with her opening remarks. Felicitations were also offered by Deepshika Aggarwal.
Sharing her experience, Govil spoke about her initial uncertainties in law school and the discipline that ultimately shaped her preparation. She stressed the importance of mastering bare acts, practicing previous years’ papers and maintaining authenticity during interviews.
Talwar reflected on the highs and lows of her journey, crediting her success to a focused approach using limited resources, consistent revision through flashcards, mock tests and a structured study plan. She encouraged aspirants to be mindful, self-aware and resilient.
An interactive Q&A session followed, during which both alumni advised students on balancing coaching with college commitments, setting realistic weekly targets and prioritising mental health during preparation.
