MP to host Tech Conclave 2025 in Indore, aims to turn state into IT hub

The Madhya Pradesh Tech conclave 2025 to be inaugurated by the state’s chief minister, Mohan Yadav, is aimed at establishing MP as a hub of technology and digital innovation.
The conclave is to take place at the Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore.
The CM will also release the guidelines for four new technology policies of the state — the GCC Policy, Drone Policy, Semiconductor Policy, and AVGC-XR Policy. Described in a statement as ‘forward-looking’ they are aimed at boosting innovation, research, and manufacturing, while also unlocking regional technological potential.
The conclave is a key initiative to translate the investment commitments made during the Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal into actionable outcomes.
This will be the state's first fully sector-based technology conclave, serving as a platform to bring the recent GIS-Bhopal investment proposals into reality. Over 300 leading industry experts, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors, including representatives from global tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, and NVIDIA, are expected to attend.
During the conclave, Yadav will also perform Bhoomi-Poojan (foundation-laying ceremonies) for new IT Parks, Skill Development Centres, and Startup Incubators. He will inaugurate Centers of Excellence and Incubation Hubs, sign key MoUs, present land allocation letters, and launch a dedicated 'Investment Facilitation Portal' that will provide real-time project tracking and a single-window interface for investors.
The conclave will also feature sector-specific roundtable meetings, virtual consultations with members of the IT Advisory Board, and one-on-one meetings between the CM and top tech industry leaders to fast-track investment approvals and resolve project-level challenges.
Stepping up its pace to be seen as a tech leader, the state is also to develop two cities as AI model cities under a pilot project, which has received in-principle approval.
The nation's first Telecom Manufacturing Zone (TMZ) is taking shape in Gwalior with an investment of ₹12,000 crore and the creation of around 5,000 jobs. This pioneering TMZ will manufacture SIM cards, chips, antennas, and other telecom devices. It will also host research and development activities focused on next-generation 6G technologies. Major companies such as Dixon, Voycon, IBM, Nixon, and Ericsson are set to invest in it.
