'Tune Agar Tattoo Banwaaya...': Punjab Kings Star Reveals Strict Warning From His Mother Amid IPL 2025; Video

Punjab Kings' rising star Nehal Wadhera has revealed that his mother has strictly warned him not to get any tattoos, with most top-level cricketers having it now. The left-handed batter stated that he wishes to get a tattoo on his body but stressed that it needs to have some meaning.

Wadhera, who started his IPL career with Mumbai Indians in 2023 and showed immense promise in the first two years, fetched a contract with the Punjab Kings ahead of the 2025 edition. The youngster has delivered promising performances in the seven games played so far, aggregating 189 runs at 37.80 alongside a strike rate of 146.51.

With Sahiba Bali asking whether Wadhera has any tattoo in Punjab Kings' YouTube video, the 24-year-old said from 6:44:

"No, I don't have any tattoos. My mom is totally you know, meri maa bahut strict hai. She was like, tune agar tattoo banwaaya, maine tenu nahin banana." (My mom is very strict and she has strictly asked me not to get a tattoo).
