10th Mitsui Shoji T20 Cricket League: Mumbai Police City Riders And Shivaji Park Warriors To Clash In Final
Mumbai Police City Riders and Shivaji Park Warriors will clash in the finals of 10th Mitsui Shoji T20 Cricket League, organised by Jwala Sports Foundation & MCC.
In the last super league match Mumbai Police City Riders had an easy win over Thane Marathas. While batting first Thane Marathas were bundled out to 120 in 16.1 overs. Shashwat Jagtap (40), Riday Khandke (13), Siddhant Adhatrao (16) and Maxwell Swaminathan (15) showed some resistance for Thane Marathas but their other batters folded cheaply due to some fine bowling from the left arm spinner Aryaraj Nikam. He took four wickets for just 18 runs.
While chasing this small total Sunil Patil (34) and Aryaraj Nikam (53) batted aggressively for police team. They put together 50 runs for the opening stand and after Patil departs Aryaraj in the company of Ruturaj Sane (24*) added another 51 runs for the third wicket for an easy win. With this win Mumbai police team march into the top spot of the Super League table, whereas Shivaji Park Warriors were on the second place.
These two teams will clash into the finals on Wednesday at Mumbai Police Gymkhana under flood lights. The 2.5 lakhs prize money tournament is sponsored by ANM for the supplying of the balls, Global as outdoor hoardings partner and Probus Insurance Broker for Prizes sponsor. Winners and runners-up will get cash prizes as well as glittering trophies.
