'Dragged on floor, assaulted with stick and belt': 55-year-old Alzheimer's patient assaulted by home-nurse in Kerala

In Kodumon, Kerala, Vishnu, a home-nurse, was arrested for allegedly assaulting Sasidharan Pillai, an Alzheimer's patient. Pillai's wife filed a complaint, alleging Vishnu used a stick and belt, and dragged Pillai, causing severe injuries. CCTV footage revealed the abuse. Pillai is currently in the ICU. The incident stemmed from Vishnu's dissatisfaction with care instructions. Police are investigating the matter further.
