Pahalgam Attack fallout: 5 terror homes razed in Kashmir, massive search ops continue
In the wake of the recent terror strike in Pahalgam, Indian security forces have intensified their counterterror operations across Jammu and Kashmir. In Pulwama and Kulgam districts, five homes of active terrorists—linked to Pakistan-backed outfits—have been demolished. Among them is the house of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Ehsaan Sheikh, who had reportedly returned after training in Pakistan. The crackdown aims to dismantle local terror infrastructure and neutralize foreign-trained militants operating in the Valley.Simultaneously, intensive search operations continue in forested regions, with encounters breaking out as forces track down hidden militant groups. In light of potential threats, alerts have been issued along railway lines and in minority-dominated areas. Border security in Jammu has also been ramped up, with surveillance and patrols increased in sensitive zones. The coordinated operations reflect India’s firm resolve to crush terror networks post-Pahalgam attack and prevent any further cross-border infiltration.
