For hikers, the retreat has various nature trails and trekking paths ranging from 2 to 20 km long. The trails take the visitors through dense forests, over the hills, through the khadds and along streams, which have water almost throughout the year. A nature guide adds value to the experience, providing information on the local flora and fauna and ensuring the safety of the visitors. The retreat also has a canteen.

“During weekend, the retreat attracts 1,000-1,500 tourists. We are adding four more huts soon to give the visitors more choice for a peaceful stay. Highlining cycle or high wire cycling will also be introduced. It is a resort where visitors can reconnect with nature, experience exciting adventures and create memories with family and friends to last a lifetime,” said Forest Conservator (North) Sanjeev Tiwari.
