Shakti Arora Denies Joining Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin After Bhavika Sharma’s Comeback: 'Just A Way To Create Hype'
Shakti Arora, who played the role of Ishaan Bhosale in the serial Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, was rumoured to re-enter the show amid its TRP struggles following the third-generation leap, which introduced new leads Sanam Johar, Param Singh, and Vaibhavi Hankare. However, the actor has now addressed the reports, slamming the news and clarifying that his name was used merely to create hype.
The actor told India Forums, "I don’t know who started this or who published it first...it's just a way to create hype. I have not been approached. But there are better ways to do PR for the show."
Earlier reports suggested that Bhavika Sharma would be making her comeback to Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, where she was expected to be paired with Param following Vaibhavi's exit. However, an official confirmation regarding Bhavika’s entry is still awaited.
Recently, Vaibhavi confirmed her exit from the serial. Speaking to ETimes, the actress said, "I was never a replacement. Tejaswini was introduced as a new character with her own journey, and I gave everything to it. My emotions, my energy and my soul. Unfortunately, her journey is coming to an end. That's how the nature of our work is."
"We don’t always get to decide how long we will be a part of a show. We only understand how deep is the connect and how hard we have worked on it," added the actress.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has undergone several changes since its inception, initially starring Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh, and Aishwarya Sharma in the lead roles. The second generation featured Bhavika, Shakti Arora, and Sumit Singh. Since June 2024, the show starred Bhavika alongside Hitesh Bharadwaj and Amayra Khurana.
