The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) on Friday announced the class 10 results. The board released the scores at 12.30 pm. Soon after the formal announcement of the results, the same was made available on the official website of the board i.e. upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in. In the UP Board Class 12 result for 2025, girls achieved a pass percentage of 86.37 percent, outperforming boys, who recorded a pass percentage of 76.60 percent. This marks a difference of 9.77 percentage points in favour of girls. Mahak Jaiswal topped the exam with a score of 486 out of 500, achieving a pass percentage of 97.20 percent.
The overall pass percentage for the UP Board Class 12 exams in 2025 stands at 81.15%. A total of 25,98,560 students appeared for the exams, comprising 25,12,576 institutional candidates and 85,984 private candidates.
UP Board Class 10th topper 2025: Yash Pratap Singh
The UP Board 10th topper is Yash Pratap Singh from Jalaun. He has scored 97.83 percent.
Yash Pratap Singh:
Yash Pratap Singh, a student of Sita Inter College in Barabanki, topped the Class 10 results with 97.67%, scoring 586 out of 600 marks. A total of 25,56,992 students appeared for the Class 10 exams, and the overall pass percentage stood at 90.11%.
Yash Pratap Singh’s score was matched by two other students — Anshi and Abhishek Yadav — who also secured 97.67%. The third position went to Ritu Garg, Arpit Verma, and Simran Gupta, each scoring 97.50%.
Yash hails from a humble background. His father, Subedar Om Prakash Singh, serves in the Indian Army, while his mother is a homemaker. He attributes his success to unwavering dedication and consistent hard work.
Speaking about his performance to Economic Times, Yash said, “I followed a disciplined study schedule, prepared self-study notes, and listened to my teachers’ advice.”
