Himalayan Griffon Vulture rescued in Chhattisgarh completes 1,165 km journey to Nepal

Chhattisgarh has achieved a conservation milestone with the successful rehabilitation of Jatayu, a Himalayan Griffon Vulture. After being rescued and treated, Jatayu was released and tracked via radio-telemetry, completing a 1,165 km journey to Nepal. The Chhattisgarh Forest Department also rescued and released a White-rumped Vulture and an Egyptian Vulture.
