Breaking: Police Crack Down After Pahalgam Attack, Militants' Houses Blown Up in Action
Following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, security forces have intensified operations across Jammu and Kashmir. A significant development came as the house of Adil Guri, a suspected militant involved in the attack, was destroyed in a powerful explosion in Bijbehara. Initial reports suggest the blast occurred due to explosives stored inside the house. Another explosion was reported at the residence of Asif Sheikh in the Aripal area of Tral. Both incidents are part of a larger crackdown by the police, who are conducting search and seizure operations in various regions suspected to have links with the Pahalgam attack. Police believe that these militants played a direct role in the assault that targeted innocent tourists visiting Pahalgam with their families. More than 200 individuals are currently in custody for questioning, and over three key suspects have been detained in the past 48 hours. The police, in coordination with national investigating agencies, are piecing together the larger conspiracy—tracking logistics, planning, and execution. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also issued a strong statement, vowing that those involved in terrorism will be hunted down wherever they hide. More such actions are expected in the coming days as the crackdown intensifies.
