Want Vivek Tankha’s Inspiring Life-Story To Reach Wider Audience: Filmmaker Ajay Chitnis

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): 'The Renaissance Man,’ a biographical documentary on Vivek Krishna Tankha, senior advocate at Supreme Court of India, will be screened here on Friday evening. Supreme Court Justice J K Maheshwari will attend the screening.

Noted filmmaker Ajay Chitnis has made the documentary, based on the life and journey of pleader, politician and philanthropist Tankha, who is also a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha).

His life is a story of dedication, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to justice and public welfare. The documentary has been screened in Raipur, Jabalpur and Delhi.

Chitnis, who has made documentaries on many well-known personalities of the country, told Free Press that he came across the profile of Tankha and was very impressed by his multifaceted personality.

Chitnis said that he started shooting for the 65-minute documentary in July, 2024. “It took me six months to complete the work during which I travelled to Jabalpur, Mandla and Delhi.

It has Hindi and English subtitles,” he said, adding that “Tankha is a humble man and his inspiring life-story should be told. Currently, he is known only in Madhya Pradesh and Delhi. I want his story to reach an all-India audience.”
