With former Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar turning 52, cricketing fraternity have taken to social media to wish the legendary cricketer happy birthday. The likes of Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina and Virender Sehwag have poured in their heartfelt tributes for Tendulkar, claiming him to be a wonderful inspiration and wished him a wonderful year.
Having made his debut in 1989, Tendulkar retired from international cricket in 2013 as a custodian of numerous records at the highest level. The veteran is the leading run-getter in both Test and ODI cricket and has the most number of centuries in the longest format. The former right-handed batter is also the most-capped player in Test and ODI cricket right now.

Meanwhile, the 52-year-old had served as Mumbai Indians' captain from 2008 to 2011. However, they overcame the same side in 2013 edition's decider, defeating them by 23 runs to win the final.
The former Mumbai Indians skipper is the fifth-highest run-getter for the franchise overall with 2599 runs in 91 matches at 32.48 with a solitary hundred.
