Aishwarya Rai was regarded as one of the most beautiful women. She was hailed for her pageantry win and gradual change in career, her acting and her wits too. Meet Shah Rukh Khan’s Heroine Who Left The Country

Priya Gill was crowned Femina Miss India International in 1995. She made her film debut with the movie ‘Tere Mere Sapne’ that was released in 1996. The film featured Arshad Warsi and Chandrachur Singh. While the film did decently, Gill pursued more scripts from south.

During the start of her career she features in several films of different languages like including Hindi, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Bhojpuri and Telugu. She also featured in 1999 release of ‘Sirf Tum’ starring Sanjay Kapoor, Sushmita Sen and Jackie Shroff. This movie made her a household name and face.

In 2000, she got famous for her beauyt and simplicity when she was cast as the love interest of Shah Rukh Khan in the iconic movie ‘Josh’. While this was only a special appearance, the movie starred Aishwarya Rai and Chandrachur Singh in lead roles too.

After a brief career in the film industry, reports surfaced that Gill had left the country and called it quits from acting. During that time, certain reports claimed that Gill was struggling with poverty, serving food at Gurudwara, that  were deemed baseless by the actress herself. However, it caused trouble for her and distanced herself form media. Later, it was also reported that the actress had some inhibitions in performing certain “objectionable scenes” in movies and hence took a break from her professional life. According to different reports, she is currently settled in Denmark leading a happy marital life.
